SECOND RACE – TEMPUS SEELSTER left aggressively from the rail and maintained the pocket in the 26.1 opener, came out at the half and was under urging to clear 11/16 in a very fast 3/4, opened a little space on the far turn and then kept the advantage to the wire. VELOCITY VESPA was urged leaving, made the top at the 1/8, refused to yield on the first turn, then was under attack again past the ½, despite urging could not keep out the winner 11/16, but came back a little along the inside in a brave showing for second. YOUNG AMERICAN gained ground inside then angled out to four-wide into the lane, gained as the tempo slowed to grab third from DRIVINGTHEDRAGON N on the money. The latter was out behind poor cover and went three-wide 5/8 to get to second-over 11/16, three-wide headstretch, OK. MELANIES SHARKETTE had to come widest of all in the lane but gained steadily. ROCKLINDAROCK stayed inside, to the Pocono Pike, so-so. ANALYZE was caught three-wide on the far turn, couldn’t come on enough. CLASSIC CARPET was three-wide to the 1/8, reluctantly took back to third at the fast ¼, followed the winner out later in the backstretch and was soon left raw, had little left. ART FRENZY tried to follow the winner at the half but had very little.
THIRD RACE – WHAMBAMTHANKUMAAM moved out at the half, progressed up at her own pace down the back, slight check midturn when a rival broke, then really hit a high gear in the last 1/8 and just drew off from these. ABBIE’S CELTICLASS made the top at the 1/8 and yielded that much later for the pocket, back out raw 5/8 and went right by, held for second behind the winner’s big late kick. SAVANNAH SUNSET stayed in, moved to the path behind the winner before midstretch and while not able to go with that one did grab third from STARR SAVANNAH. The latter was three-wide to the 1/8 then two-wide to the 27.4 quarter, surrendered the lead ¾ and tired some. STARS N SPARKLES was off the gate by four lengths, never featured. MY CHERRY PIE left and yielded, came out as the lead changed hands ¾ and was left raw, broke midturn.
FOURTH RACE – OOH RAH was handled patiently early and settled in third 3/16, out 5/16 to get the lead past the 3/8, completed his mission from there with sharp 57 – 28 speed. UNCLE LEROY came away well and was on top past the 1/8, yielded in front of the stands, held second over a game GUSTAVO FRING. The latter started first-up into the second turn, gained steadily until midturn, when he couldn’t much strides with the winner, but battled hard to try to get second. ARMBRO HALL went to the lead then yielded, inside, not a late factor. ARCHERY backed out to third-over, three-wide on the turn, couldn’t find the target. DOYOUFEELLUCKYPUNK was second-over, gapped 5/8, then broke while out of contention just into the stretch. HE’S IN THE GAME gradually fell out of the game.
FIFTH RACE – CONNIE JEAN was three-wide into the 1/8 and two-wide to get the lead 3/16 in the 27.1 opener, yielded to the chalk and stayed right on her back, to the Pocono Pike and just did get the final nod in a very long duel. SUNRISE AVENUE moved out past the ¼ to the front just past the 3/8, continued at a good clip, fought for all she was worth in the deep stretch and just failed. KEYSTONE ANGEL raced into the pocket at the 1/8, inside, popped out ¾, did well late. MISSY MOUNTAIN TOP stayed in, fair. ANGIE OVER was the innermost of three leavers, yielded, then broke 3/16. WISE HANOVER shut off her air very early in the race and finished almost 30 seconds behind the rest.
SIXTH RACE – UNBEAMLIEVEABLE made the top at the 1/8, yielded 5/16, had to check 5/8 when the leader broke but got back into full flight quickly enough to keep KAY’S DELIGHT from crossing over, then dueled with that one the rest of the way, won measuring the margin late. KAY’S DELIGHT started uncovered 5/8, pressured the leader, got as much as a ¾-length advantage past the 5/8 but the winner snapped back quickly to keep her parked out, tried gamely to the wire. FOX VALLEY KIT had the early pocket, gapped on the far turn, a distant third. CALL ME COWGIRL was second-over, but gapped was looped, then had some resurgence late to get a DH4 with TSM MONEY DRAGON, who hugged the inside and used the Pocono Pike. WELL FRAMED was originally third-over but moved three-wide past the 5/8 to go around a gapper and resettled second-over before the ¾, flattened out. DANGEROUSPRECEDENT never figured into it. CINDER RITA left but was a bit rough and wide going to the first turn, eventually made her way to the lead 5/16, was coming under pressure 5/8 when she lost her composure and was taken to the infield. COMINAGAIN broke early.
SEVENTH RACE -- SEA ROSE went right to the lead, then made a shambles of the competition with a 27.3 third quarter, opening an insurmountable lead. LOVE OF LIBERTY tucked, came out 5/8 to go three-wide around the first-over 11/16, couldn’t quite make the huge pocket hole on the turn, but paced on and was ahead of the rest. EXOTIC FLING sat second, lost contact with the winner 5/8, did keep the place horse outside on the far turn but then tired, did hold on for third. BULLVILLE GG was first-up before the 3/8, never threatened the winner, looped before the ¾, evenly. ANASTASIA SHADE stayed in semicontact with the first four and got the last check. THE LAST FOUR were the last four at every call and were over eight lengths behind the top five at the ¾.
EIGHTH RACE – ARIELLE LYNN worked out a second-over trip, three-wide late on the turn, proved the strong horse in the stretch. YES YOU CAN looked at leaving but took back, went first-over going to the second turn, went 26.4 down the back to trouble the pacesetter, never was ahead but kept on digging and was up for second. STRINGS saved all the ground, worked through late deep in the Pocono Pike and was along for third. USE YOUR NOODLE pushed to the 3/16 then yielded for the pocket, went to the Pocono Pike, had a short lead for a couple of steps midstretch but could not sustain. UF DRAGON’S QUEEN was four-wide early and three-wide to the first turn, took the 3-hole before the 3/16, gapped in the fast third quarter, then gained in stretch until being shut off about 100 feet out. DEUCES FOR CHARITY made a small break 5/16, with good cover, swung wide and wasn’t too far off. GIRLLOOKATTHATBODY was third-over, gapped in the quick third split, three-wide with cover on the turn, evenly as the pace slowed late. LIVE ODDS was intent on getting the lead, got it 3/16, went big fractions, tired in the stretch. MIMOSA PARTY was last all the way.
NINTH RACE – ANDOVER THE CASH spotted fourth before the 1/8, moved with cover 5/8 and left uncovered to the ¾, trotted by the new leader into the stretch and drew off from this gathering. FRAC followed the cover of the winner, couldn’t stay with him but kept to task steadily and was along for second. PITTSTOP KIP left well, yielded, then was badly shuffled to the ¾ when the pacesetter gave way badly, outside in a blindswitch on the turn, recovered for third. LINDY’S BEST YET came up the inside mid-backstretch as the horses sitting 3-4-5 pulled out, came between horses in the stretch, OK. SARAH’S HALL vacated third 5/8 and quickly trotted past the leader, but that effort tired her to the point that she had little resistance late. MARAT never featured. FLASHBACKS headed down the road at a good clip, empty when challenged towards the ¾. CADILLAC CRUISER was declared a non-starter, with refunds.
TENTH RACE – HILARIOUS HERO raced into the pocket before the 1/8, came outside headstretch and steamed right on by handily. MISTER PHOTOGENIC sat in, used the Pocono Pike and just took second from BOINGANATOR. The latter was three-wide to the first turn and soon thereafter on top, rated the middle half, but still was susceptible to quick speed for opponents in the stretch. MUSCLES ON FIRE came out at the half and got cover a 1/16 later, three-wide midturn, finished with speed but couldn’t catch the ones who had inside trips. PHI ALPHA was third-over, gapped on the far turn, got the last check. DON LINDY left some, went first-up 9/16, not much left in the latter stages. FUMATA BIANCA lost contact past the half.
ELEVENTH RACE – THE MUSCLE TOUCH was away nicely, forced a tuck in a quick quarter, then yielded to the favorite, slightly loose as the pace picked up down the back but tighter ¾, to the Pocono Pike, not grabbing-on-the-bit strong but the best in here. HOT MESS HANOVER came uncovered at the half, grinded away, went on gamely to the finish. GIN’S TONIC was three-wide to the first turn, two-wide until being put into the pocket at the ¼, to the deep Pike where she may have been in tight quarters midstretch, OK. DEWTIFUL LASS sat in, then angled between horses in the stretch and finished with trot. TALKIN TOOTSIE quarter-moved once the early battle was settled, got a breather in Q2 then went faster in Q3, didn’t have too much left late. WINNING PROCESS was second-over and three-wide but couldn’t make a dent. KAYLA JADE was offstride shortly after the field came off the turn before the start.
TWELFTH RACE – BEND IN THE RIVER was never behind in here, and stormed home in 57.2 to be clear the last 3/8. SOUTHWIND LARADO took the pocket to the 3/16, unplugged from the winner 5/8 but trotted his race and held in a photo over PERSEVERANCE for Tuesday Night Neal at 90-1. PERSEVERANCE was first-over from second-last save the breaker 3/8, too far to come against a strong winner, almost got second. FLAGSTAFF stayed in and stayed out of trouble. TOP OF THE LINE raced behind cover early and worked in third 3/16, struggled in the latter stages. ARTIC CLIPPER never entered contention. ALL NIGHT CREDIT backed out to be second-over before the half but couldn’t go with the cover. CLAIRE AND KENNY went offstride heading to the first turn.
THIRTEENTH RACE – ALTA LEROY N quarter-moved, left the field behind down the back save the pocketsitter, then left him behind in the stretch. DUEL IN THE SUN outgunned everybody for early command, yielded for the pocket, stayed close until headstretch, far and away second-best. PRINCE ASTON went a big trip at 109-1: he couldn’t find a hole early so rode outside, had to check when CHECK’S COMMODORE broke to the 3/8, then was uncovered the rest of the way, not close to the top pair but gamely to beat out all the others. JK ALLNITELONG came outside headstretch, missed third in a photo. SAFE HARBOR stayed connected and got the last check. RING WARRIOR made the early pocket, gapped out 11/16. HOLLYWOOD SIGN A and TALKING BLUES were always far back. CHECK’S COMMODORE showed speed, gradually backed into the 4-spot 3/16, then made a break before the 3/8.
FOURTEENTH RACE – LUMINOSITY tucked fourth at the 1/8, then started first-up on turn two, went 27.2 down the back pressuring the leader and then passing that one into the turn, drew off. ZOOMING was in the outer flow, saw his cover go south as the winner cleared, three-wide, just outtrotted HASTY PROFITT for second. The latter tailed ZOOMING, went widest in the lane and was moving well late. LUCKY COLBY was three-wide into the first turn then two-wide until getting the front at the 27.2 quarter, yielded, shuffled a little on the turn, then to the Pocono Pike and up to be next. BURNIN MONEY made the front, forced a hard quarter, yielded, then regained immediately, got a moderated half then again worked hard battling the winner down the back, couldn’t keep that one outside past the ¾, tired. RAY HALL backed out to follow the winner after KANDY KORN broke but could not go forward. ANDOVERS TOUCH offered little. KANDY KORN had good position second-over behind the winner, may’ve been trying to stay with that one in the fast third split when breaking 5/8. KABU gradually lost contact with the field.
