CHESTER PA – The only thing hotter than the 38 candles on Tim Tetrick’s birthday cake on Friday was his continued scorching form in the sulky at Harrah’s Philadelphia, where he guided six more winners, including She’s Allright in 1:52.4 while taking the $17,000 distaff pacing feature.
Tetrick got away second with the sophomore daughter of Sweet Lou, who was a Jugette finalist, then brushed around early leader Sweet Lucy Lou just past the :28.4 opening quarter on a “good track.” She’s Allright kept rolling to a :57.1 half, with Alkippe coming first-over at that point and favored Lincoln’s Girl N, trying to stay undefeated in the States, out and second-over.
Ron Burke trained his winning filly right back top form as she won her third straight and pushed her earnings to $181,329 for Burke Racing Stable LLC and Weaver Bruscemi LLC, Michelle Yanek and Phil Collura.
The big story continued to be the sensational driving form of Tetrick over the southeast Pennsylvania 5/8-mile oval. In his last five appearances here, dating back to November 13, Tim has driven 28 winners (and left early on the two Wednesdays to compete late at Dover). Including the 13th, and counting his successes at Dover and The Meadowlands, Tetrick has won 47 races in the last ten days.
